Demarcus has proven himself as an elite player in the league, he gets slack from me. Spencer has proven nothing, he has 6.5 career sacks, he is not a game changer, he doesnt play up to his draft status. He is mediocre.

Its not all about stats..If you watched the games from time to time maybe you would see how wrong you are about him.

He is nothing special, sorry. Tell Anthony that I dont dislike him as a person, just as a football player.

We were sold a bill of goods with Spencer. He is one rung above Barbie on the total bust ladder.

i disagree totally....hes had his hicups this season but has progressed tremendously as the season has gone on...he gets consistent pressure and has recently begun making the plays...

Whatever, you must be related to him or you are him.

Make a game changing play, Anthony, then I might believe.

There are litteraly dozens of players we could stick at OLB that wont make big plays, wont get a ton of tackles and wont get sacks.

He is completely replaceable, utterly mediocre and has done a terrible job filling in for Ellis.

You have to sort of back that up. I think that he's improving above Jag status - but blows a lot of OLB responsibilities + hasn't had many sacks given who his bookend is.

A Spencer hate thread? Really? So guys can't have bad plays again?

Bradie James took a bad angle and Sensabaugh had a chance to push Jacobs out of bounds (albeit while getting held). And Spencer chased Jacobs all the way down to the goal line. How the hell is he lazy?

There was one series when they went 3 and out when he almost single handedly stopped the Giants. His pressure also lead to Jenkins int which took points off the board.

The OP is an over reactive idiot.

And what do you call that INT vs. the Commanders to WIN the game.

I have been one of Spencer's bigger critics but think he has been the best player on D since the GB game. Yep, he blew the coverage on the Jacobs play but Newman whiffed on a tackle at about the 30 that could have stopped the play.

Spencer actually had a pretty good game.

Too bad Hamlin wasn't healthy. Probably wouldn't have given up that long TD. Sensabaugh is probably the worst tackling safety we've had here in years.

Nice. Didn't know that having an opinion qualified as an idiot. Guess I'll keep that in mind next time.

Spencer was boom or bust today. Penalties and plays were made on his watch.

If you don't see that, you're a blind *** hole.

Like I said, Its not all about Stats.

He has payed the run very well, has put a lot of pressure on the quarterbacks (more than D Ware at time) and played the pass very well.

If you don't see that than get a better T.V or learn a little more about football..

Can you explain your "lazy" comment when he helped in jamming the TE, missed the coverage but still ran him all the way down to the end zone?

Can't you see that you're just butt hurt and over reactive and need to chill?

He's playing with a broken thumb and on the Jacobs run he was HELD and the refs absolutely blew the call...

The Jacobs play was a horrible mistake by Spencer but he's hardly the only guy who screwed up on that play and he's no where near the only guy on defense who didn't do nearly enough today.

So as long as guys trail the play, everything is good?

Sweet. Why did Dallas ditch Roy Williams (SS) again?

How do you explain multiple offsides on the same drive?

He played lazy, undisciplined ball.

Making a couple of plays doesn't exonerate a guy from ****ing up multiple times.
