I agree.

Norton is a virus all on it's own. :lmao:

I also agree! Avast is the best free anti virus software available. It audibly alerts you to a threat and it constantly updates itself automatically.

Microsoft Security Essentials for anti-virus. Avast if you're still keen to pay for it. You might think because its from MS that it'd be bulky and suck but its pretty lean and mean. Very good at disinfecting and cleaning files as opposed to bulk removal (and data loss).

I use Malwarebytes Anti-Malware in conjunction with it. The free edition is fine but theres a licensed version available too.

I used to be big on AVG for anti virus and Lavasoft Ad-Aware for spyware but IMO they've gotten too bloated ala the Nortons of the world.

Macs have viruses too, just nowhere near as many. Virus makers tend to attack larger targets which is why Windows has far more viruses.

Apple has like 5% market share lol...why would they waste the time. Macs get viruses its just there's less people targeting them.

I go the pay route. I use McAfee Security Center. We use Symantec at the state level and I HATE IT!

RtVscan is a fatter Rosanne Barr.

No no...really. :eek::
