It's his first start, with an O-line that was bad enough, now without Martin, and a fumble machine for a RB. I'm willing to give him another game or two before I decide whether he's a viable backup.

Viable backup is one thing. Being good enough to lead the offense in its current state has proven to take much more than viable back up level talent. He will certainly improve, but I dont believe this offense will look good again for awhile.

It became pretty obvious Dak was one of the few bright spots in those losses. Its unbelievable we have a historically bad defense and yall still want to pin those L's to Dak.

Dak either kept us in or brought us back in every one of those games. Dalton demonstrated how not just "any" qb can make this offense hum.

I used to question wether Dak was a catalyst. He answered that when both his oline and run game went to crap. Unfortunately Dalton just reconfirmed it.

Rodgers is a true elite QB and wasn’t able to overcome his contract.. Plus he already had a title..

At least with most of these guys who get this money they have either won a championship or been to one..

With Dak you get none of that.. You pay him like a champion and you got 1 whole playoff win to validate it.

This will be the equivalent of signing Kirk Cousins to a deal.. It’s stupid and everyone knows it.

That's the thing for me, their defense is really good. Pair that with a veteran stocked offense for a year or two and take your shot. After that, everybody including the head coach retires and you commit to a rebuild. But at least you have a plan and took your shot.

I think we tried to do that by getting the FA’s. Unfortunately one of them had a bad back, and the other just weren’t any good. We didn’t know that, just like them. And the injuries.....

I still think Jaylon is the #1 suspect that is killing this defense.

Dak and Cousins aren’t of the same caliber. Deshaun Watson is probably a better comparison but he needs help too.
I don’t care who you are there is no quarterback that can win consistently with the worst defense in the league and special teams. If there is please refresh my memory.
