   PIT gets 2019 3rd and 5th round pick for Antonio Brown a year after getting a 3 for Martavis Bryant. Not the return they wanted but he had to go and there were few intereated teams. According to teams that spoke to PIT, BUF was prepared to swap 20 and 9 and deal 2 midround picks
   
   
   
   As we all know, that deal was dead earlier in the week because Brown refused to go there. In the end, Brown gets pretty much everything he wants except for going to a winning team. New contract and out of PIT with 3 yrs left on his deal. It wasnt pretty, but was pretty effective.

I swear this site has this weird mindset on “age” when it comes to certain players.

All had multiple 1000 yard seasons after the age 31. AB will give Oakland good production for at least 2-3 seasons

I see things as you do and agree with this post. That wrong side of 30 argument can always be used in today's NFL contract negotiating wars but I would lump Brown right in with the names you mentioned here and believe he will give 2 excellent, if not 3 years of very similar numbers to what he's has been producing these last 4 or so.

I agree they got a great pick for Cooper and didn’t overpay for AB, but Brown is in his 10th year next year and will be 31 in July. He’s still good but he’s also a head case. Big Ben is a lot better than Derek Carr in Oak. I don’t see it is as that great a move- except for Pittsburgh.

For the value, it could be good for both teams, but I don't think the compensation can really be compared to Cooper because of the age/longevity difference. The wall isn't far off for Brown so he could be a one- to two-year rental before his legs fall off. Cooper is a long-term deal No. 1 receiver.

That's without the "head case" factor. We don't know if that will come into play, but it's still something that has to be considered.

Not going to lie, I'd be happy if I were a Raiders fan. They have AB and 3 1st round picks this draft. For those saying he's 30-31 now. Owens was 32-33 when we signed him and he was still a beast. Will they win a SB? No. But he will bring excitement.

Personally, the Bills dodged a bullet. Price was ridiculously low but Brown is a culture killer. Great player but not worth the trouble. He would ruin a young QB.
