Why then? Because we have young talent on the roster?
Yeah, I just don't think he's that good. I definitely wouldn't cut Stanback. Maybe Austin, but I'd rather give him one more season.

I have NOT created any other thread about Bryant...I almost never create threads...I just want to find out what other people think, that's all!

Now, if he were to sign...I would have to root for him because I'm a Cowboy fan...

Oh, and if you think I did this becaus of YOU? Yeah, I did! Enjoy! :laugh2:

On thing about signing T.O. or Tank is because they have NEVER been a Cowboy...Bryant has already been here once...and in Cleve once, and with the 9'er once...

You are very important to me, YoMick, that's why I did this...just for you, my good friend!

:laugh2:

 You are a good man.
You didnt have to admit it was for me... I knew... but props to ya for admitting it.

Hmmm... is it a coincidence that a lot of the people that voted "Yes" are on my ignore list?

He was NEVER good enough to warrant even part of the headaches he caused. Add to that the stupid penalties and other garbage- not only no but #### NO!

We already have great recievers. Heck Fasano is barely in the game and he is a damn good recieving TE. If not even he can make it on the field then we are stacked; there just aren't enogh passes to be thrown around.

Bryant is a cancer.

I'd actually be thrilled with it. 'Cause if that guy can grow up a little, he'll be one of the top wide-outs on the league. Seriously. I think he has that kind of talent. He's a tremendous receiver. He's just got some maturity issues. But maybe he's taken a look at what got him suspended, and cut. Maybe he's turned it around, or is committed to turning it around?

At the very least, I'd give him the shot. Because as much as I like our young receivers, I don't believe any of them have the #1 talent that Bryant does. I think Crayton is perfect for the slot. Not so much as a starter. And while Hurd definitely has starting potential, he's not quite there yet. Added to that, there's no guarantee that Terry Glenn will definitely be able to come back, and if he does, that he'll be same.

If we're serious about making a Superbowl run this year, and I believe we are, then I say you load up with as much available talent as you can. And as "troubled" as Bryant may have been to this point, perhaps a soft-hearted, soft-spoken coach like Phillips is exactly what he needs. 'Cause remember, it wasn't the Cowboys he had problems with. It was Parcells. And the Tuna is gone.

We're giving Tank Johnson a fresh start. I don't see why, with an intelligent contract, we shouldn't afford Antonio the same opportunity. 'Cause if we hit with him, we hit big. And with the age of our *star* receivers, acquiring young, high-potential talent at that position only makes good sense.

I doubt it'll happen, unfortunately. But I'd pull the trigger in a heartbeat...

Listen to the "Inside the Huddle" shows with Sam Hurd. He talks about what a cohesive group this team is right now. He calls it "family" a couple of times. (I guess Wade really is accomplishing that). Why risk it for Bryant when Crayton has much better hands and Hurd has high potential combined with one of the best attitudes I can imagine.

I know you can argue that the family atmosphere would be a plus and help keep Bryant in line, but we don't need to take that risk. We're fine as we are.

He is 26 years old has been let go by 3 teams and 2 of those teams he had the opportunity to be the lead dog and failed. When he was here he clashed with Keyshawn I can only imagine what would happen with TO. Tank at least was only kicked off 1 team, Oh and Tank has never played for the cowboys before.

Yes I would like him in the place of Terry Glenn... He brings talent and youth and does have a little problem but look how T.O. is working out.... I believe Antonio is an original Cowboy and he should be in a Cowboy uniform.
