AC is a scumbag. He has several kids with different woman and had to take a loan from the Jets last season to pay child support. Couple that with the fact that he makes D Sanders look like D Butkus in the tackling department and he is exactly what we don't want or need.

I would pass.

The guy is a scumbag, a soft player and a head case. No getting around his athletic ability but this is exact;y the kind of player/baggage I am hoping Garret and the front office will steer clear of.

I would take him over Newman yes, it would also clear up a bit more cap space and we get younger at the CB spot and better in my opinion. I don't see us going after him though.

No. He isn't a Garrett type of guy like NA is. I think a pretty big part of why the Cowboys thought NA was worth the money is because of the type of person he is.

With Cromartie, you are buying some bad with the good.

Forget about a CB. It's not too bad to start the season with Newman, Jenkins, Scandrick, Ball and McCann.

On the other hand, it is scary to think our safeties are AOA, Church, etc.

I am even fine if we don't sign a RG, but we can't head into the season with what we have at Safety...

Pretty good football player, but theres a reason the Chargers parted ways with him and the Jets aren't falling all over themselves to re-sign him.
