Every draft there were those who would have been better picks for every team instead of their original pick.

But, unfortunately, we, the Dallas Cowboys do not have a crystal ball to let us in on the gems of the draft.

Hindsight is 20/20 or whatever the saying is :p

PS. I never wanted Bobby Carp in the 1st place, I wanted Manny Lawson who is on the IR in SF :)

He had some injuries issuem. Talentwise, he was a top-5 pick.

Chargers drafted Him and McNeil and we have Carpenter and Fasano.

If we had drafted Cromartie, everyone would have been confused and hated the pick. We'd still likely be trashing on him for not starting.

I just hope we don't decide to pick up Quentin Jammer when the Chargers decide to release him in favor of Cromartie...

Pretty risky pick at the time. Guy had played like what, 5 college games due to injury?

Yhea, started only a handful of games due to injury in college.

But just watching him for several games now, and he's an incredibile athlete and football player. He's fun to watch.

everybody in the league passed on Jason Witten...some teams passed on him 3 times

I bet he'd have solved some of those teams TE/passing game problems

We passed on Tom Brady 5 times ! How these people can look themselves in the face after that is beyond me.

Haha. I posted a thread right after the new england game thanking parcells for drafting Carpenter over Cromartie and i got laughed off the board. Who's laughing now. Cromartie was the best pure athlete to step on the F$U campus since Deion. I wanted Cromartie in the Worsttttttt way. I t makes me sick to see this guy making plays every freakin wear, meanwhile carpenter is just a special teams player.

Parcells blew it period on this pick.

I hope people do understand that Cromartie's currently a backup in San Diego.

People are putting him in the Pro Bowl when he's the 3rd best corner on his own team, at least according to his current coaching staff.

Dude, Marlon Mcree is a free agent after this season. Guess who steps right in after he departs. Umm id love to have a thrid corner with the production and the playmaking skills this guy has. Spin anyway you like, the guy is a baller and we had him 2 years ago. It wont be long before he's starting.
