He's been playing safety since his rookie year in 2005

I knew he played safety the last couple of years. I always thought he came in the NFL as a corner. Wasn't he a CB at U. of Miami?

Yes. He was converted into FS in the NFL. He wasn't quick enough to play corner but he became a solid FS.

And I seriously doubt he's cut, expensive or not he's a good player for them and without a Salary Cap to blame it on, the cards will keep him

There's no cap and no floor either. Teams can choose to go on the cheap and cut overpaid players.

id like to see wilfork in here for sure. The argument of ratliff being less effective on the outside is stupid if anyone wants to agrue it lets do it.

Losing sensabaugh for nothing would also be nice . But i highly doubt the cut him which sucks, him and hamlin need to go if there is a more effective replacement available .

I know the mood is kind of down on Sensy and Hamlin, but I'd like to see what they could do with both of them healthy all year.

Hamlin has been a good player here before, even if he is overpaid now, maybe he can regain his past form. And, I was pleased with Sensy this year, especially before the injury. I definitely didn't notice TEs and running backs burning Dallas as bad this year as the last 2-3 years of the Roy Williams era.

Overall, call me a homer, but I really think this defense could be good with a little "continuity". I'd hate to finally win a playoff game and then immediately come in and change stuff around unnecessarily.

Rolle was good enough to make the pro bowl. Adrien Wilson was the other safety.

Wilson was a starter but sat it out.

Rolle was a replacement for Sharper. And that JAG Quinton Mikell made it too

what about Bethea ? hes a free agent this year. I doubt he leaves if indy wins but worth a try
