Antwan Peek anyone?

Saw the Browns released OLB Antwan Peek, according to Rotoworld. They described him as a promising 3-4 OLB before a knee injury shelved him last year.

Although nothing is set in stone with Ellis' future with the team, what are your thoughts on bringing him in for the vet minimum?

He rutured his patella tendon during TC, tough injury to come back from otherwise he would be a nice depth move.

Don't really want to look it up, but I wonder if Grantham was at Houston when he was. Might have a little, as Parcells used to say, product knowledge.

Didn't I also see that Jason Babin was a FA? He's another ex-Texan 34 OLB. He was pretty much a bust, but we're talking cheap depth, right?

That's pretty much what I was getting at - a decent player that wouldn't cost much and could replace Ellis, his contract and whining.

I like Peek but he'd have to have an enthusiams for playing ST to have a shot at the roster.

I think your going to start seeing alot of guys that are good be released. I'm all for adding depth players for cheap.
