Jacox made a lot of sense for the Boys last year, and still makes a lot of sense for them... he's a center, and they badly need depth at that position... he's also big for the position, and they seem to be making an effort to get a bit bigger...

And like I said, he's an experienced starter who's also had experience coming off the bench at times...

Don't know if he's on the Boys' radar or not, but he certainly should be, IMO...

Our in house French Canadian did a decent job this past season, what I don't understand is why Jeff Robinson was never invited back.

Dale Hellestrae snapped until he was 39, Robinson is only 36, that's four more seasons outta' him.

Robinson retired midway thru the 2005 season because of injury.

ROBBY RETIRED?: Tight end Jeff Robinson's return to the Rams might have come to an end.

Robinson was not at Wednesday's practice and fellow tight end Cameron Cleeland was wearing his old No. 87 during the workout.

Robinson is expected to retire in the coming days.

"I talked to him this morning and so there is really no announcement until he announces it," Vitt said. "He has got to submit a letter and then when that's done, we'll take it from there."
