Any Bettors Here?

I decided to wage a little money on the games and see how it goes. See if it's some thing I can get into beyond the occasional office pool.

With that said, anyone have any good references or web sites where I might get some FREE tips? I started last week and just went off my gut playing a 12 team progressive parlay and a 12 team parlay only betting a $1.00 on each. I found this might be my favorite way to go, I don't like losing large sums of money and I liked the returns investment of the parlays. Anyways, came away with a few bucks on the progressive so I like what I see so far. lol

From an odds standpoint, parlays are among the worst, meaning that you win less often than the parlay multiple justifies. But parlays offer a utility advantage, kind of like a lottery ticket (i.e., small investment, big potential payout).

I don't do a lot of sports betting, but there is a website called twoplustwo that has, among other things, a forum for sports betting. There are some pretty avid betters there, and some of them are fairly sophisticated in the way they play the lines. You might pick up something useful, IDK.
