Any big time reggae fans?

I love music with all my being but reggae has been at the top of my conscience for at least the last 15 years or so. I review reggae for two websites so it's just always at the forefront for me. I love all styles and have so many favorites across all of them. Roots, dancehall, rocksteady, rock reggae, it's all beautiful to me. Any of you guys heavy into it?

HUGE Marley fan. But he is about the only one I listen to with an occasional Jimmy Cliff.

Beyond that really do not know many other artist or work in the genre.

I am a music lover. Several types - classic rock, 90s grunge, alt, country, metal, Irish. Love it. Big fan of reggae too. Vacation with a Red Stripe listening to some reggae is nirvana for me. Bob Marley’s greatest hits gets worn out by me. I even loved Ziggy’s stuff. Burning Spear. Yellowman. Great stuff. There was a tweener guy named Shabbah Ranks that I used to love. Another guy - Eddie Grant. I love his Buffalo Soldier album.

Yeah Reggae is like Irish music to me, it just makes me happy.

Good odd comparison, and 100% agree. Reggae and Irish music always bring a smile and relax me.

I wasn't the biggest fan of his music personally, but no doubt he was an absolute legend.
