Jason G proved that he is not ready to be a high caliber HC! That being said I think Wade is only one of the best Defensive C. out there! NOt A head coach! Who ever JJ would hire to be a HC would have to make all this High talent O' & D' reach their full potential! It will be a sad thing to see this team not reach a SBowl before free agency departs us!! TO MUCH TALENT TO WASTE!

Jimmy is not coming back to coaching. He has said it over and over again. He's enjoying fishing everyday and a life of no stress.

Strange logic isnt it? It is not an easy decision because other parts are more responsible than Wade (OL, OC). I think Garrett should be fired and give Wade a shot with an experienced OC.

As a matter of fact, it was reported a few weeks ago that he really wants Tom Coughlin's job.


Personally, if you are going to give a Head Coach an extension, it should be more than 1 year.

If you only have confidence in a Head Coach to only extend his contract to 1 year, then you should probably move on and find a Head Coach you feel is worth a multi year contract.

Also, at this point I would not mind seeing Jason Garrett get shown the door because I have a feeling Wade Phillips has no control over the Offense.

I would like to see him pick his own Offensive Coordinator and thus have some authority over him.

I really hate seeing a team with pretty good talent on Offense go down the drain with a guy learning on the job.

It was not reported. It is just Jerome Blubber Butt's opinion. Cowher has never been interviewed or was even asked the question if he wanted to coach Jints. If Jerry offers Cowher $7 million/per year or made him highest paid coach in NFL, Bill would be our HC in a NY second.

No, I believe I saw someone on ESPN during one of the Sunday Countdowns say that Bill Cowher would never come here because of the structure of the organization.

I believe it was Adam Schefter but it definitely wasn't Jerome Bettis who made the comment I heard.

Doesn't matter anyway, Bill Cowher is never coming here.

People just need to come to grips with the fact that very little changes, if any will be made to the Coaching Staff.

Also, I don't think Jerry Jones even gave Bill Parcells $7 Million per year.

I think he may talk (or pay under the table to save face) Wade into coming out and retiring in the next couple days.

Jerry must realize that the right HC could take what we have right now, and win the SuperBowl next year in his own stadium.
