Any Chance T.O Is Back In Philly Next Year?

Now, just so everyone understands this is not a bring T.O. to Dallas thread. I would rather line up Jose Cortez at WR than have T.O. T.O. destoys everything he touches.

Assuming Philly continues to implode, I can not see Philly bringing T.O. back. Of course I am not a capologist and have no idea what the release of T.O. would cost the team.

Anyway, what team can you see making a serious run at T.O. if were released? It looks to me as though T.O. is burning some serious bridges with his behavior, but I am sure some team will forgive him for his past trespasses. Which team would be likely to forgive in your opinion?

I guess anything is possible but I sure as hell wouldn't place any money on him being back with Philthy next year. Too many burned bridges.

I can see New England giving him another shot. They had success with Dillon and could very much use TO. I doubt the Raiders go for him since he couldn't co-exist with Moss. Tampa is another possibility as well as Green Bay and Seattle. Anybody with a west coast connection to the niners: Jets, Atlanta etc

Nice post. The Patriots are the only team I can see controlling TO. The Bulls were the only team that could control Rodman. Similarly, the Patriots are the only team that can handle TO. Bellichek has established a presence there which abolishes any type of self-promotion, gloating or outbursts of emotion both good or bad. That's the one place TO would be afraid to be TO if he ended up there much like Rodman with the Bulls.

BUT I don't see TO going to the Patriots because he loves attention. Atlanta would be his ideal fit.

So is TO looking for money or production, or both. Atlanta might pay him big bucks but having Vick as a pitch and catch partner will hurt his production. I'm not sure where TO is a good fit.

It is. It's nice and roomy, but I didn't like the bed/bath ratio.

I don't know where hes going to go, I just hope its out of the division. I think hes a jackass, but a highly talented one, and if we get to see him less thats better in my book.

I certainly dont care, but I do find it fascinating that a player of his past success and talent is flushing his career down the toilet. The self destruction is kind of fascinating.

Also I am somewhat interested because he is in the division and very well may not be next year.

Thats just me though, I can see how you dont care.

I would bet the house that TO doesn't stay with Philly. Likewise, I'd bet again that whoever signs him it is on a 1 year deal only. Not too much risk in one year deals. It wouldn't give him time to complain and destroy team chemistry. No way I see New England take him. Not Bilichecks blue collar type player at all. I know he took Dillon, but TO is way worse chemistry-wise than Dillon.
I'd wouldn't be shocked if Nobody gave him another chance either. I know that sounds crazy in this day and age of second chances, but TO is the ultimate cancer. Worst cancer I've ever seen in any sport, plus he's aging and getting injury prone. I wouldn't be shocked to see him out of the league this time next year.

No chance he's in Philly, IMO.

Minnesota, Oakland... I don't think he'll have alot of options.

I doubt Gibbs would take him.
