Trey Lance won’t be taking snaps until pre-season games next August. The Trey Lance watch party needs to be postponed until the 2024 season.

Get this through your head. Trey Lance will never be your starting QB. There will never be a Trey Lance era. You've got Prescott for another half dozen years at least and Lance will either be long gone from the league or traded by that point.

He's a FA after next year. We won't be recouping our 4th rounder for him.

I know we have beat DC to guarantee the NFC East. As the emergency QB, hopefully he sees no action.. So why not activate him and if the game is out of hand or design some plays for him to run..
because you don't want the 3rd string active if your 1st string goes down in a critical game.

He would have to be activated prior to the game starting… not after it becomes a blowout. They’re not going to use a roster spot on a 3rd QB. The only way you will see Lance play will be in preseason and if both Dak and Rush are injured some point over the next 2 seasons!

I see folks assuming blowout win. Have we forgotten week 18 of last year? The Cowboys played their starters, there was still a chance to improve their position (slim, but not non-existent), and the Commanders played their butts off.

It's their Super Bowl. Just take care of business and get out of there, but expecting an easy blowout may lead to some frustration.

I wish he would but Sunday is a must win. Unless Dallas is up by 5 touchdowns in the 3rd quarter it would make no sense to put him out there. If he plays in a Dallas uniform it won’t be until next preseason.
