Any college basketball fans out there?

I'm a big Duke fan, so tonight is the night of the big rivalry - UNC vs. Duke.

Should be interesting because we are definitely not the Duke of old. Nonetheless, I'm still pumped up and ready to go!

Oh yeah.....big time Memphis fan and have been since the early 80's.

Too bad our league sucks so badly.......with the exception of a few other teams like Houston (WG made me do it ) and UAB.

Red... I'm in mourning with ya. Thought we were gonna pull that one out, leading for 35 minutes... only to see it all slip away because we can't hit free throws, and have no scoring threats. Bummer.

I love college basketball, but I rarely watch it outside of the tournament these days...

I like the underdog or the upstart teams...

Sorry LR, that excludes me from rooting for the Dookies...

This is most definitely a different year for Duke fans. I knew it would be a rough transition from losing JJ and Shelden to the NBA, but I never thought we'd lose three-straight games, two of those being at home.

We went 9-for-9 in free throws during the first half, and then we go 3-for-10 in the second half. That was the difference in the game.

This team is just very young and inexperienced. McRoberts is really disappointing me though. If he made a jump to the NBA after this season, that would be a big mistake. His stock has dropped considerably.

The bright spot is Scheyer though - he's no JJ, but he can most definitely give us some points.

We need that go-to guy. That's our problem. In the past, we always had a real scorer and/or motivator. Guys like JJ, Shelden, Jason Williams, Shane Battier...we have no guy like that on this year's team.

Ugh.

Yeah, when you said you were a Dukie I almost forgot you have red hair.

I lived in North Carolina for a couple of years and learned to love that team. A friend had a bumper sticker that I liked.

"If God is not a Tarheel fan, why is the sky Carolina blue?"
