Any early SB favorites for next season?

Yep way too early for this conversation, but so far I’m leaning Ravens and Commodes. I don’t see the Eagles repeating, their depth isn’t as good and they are finally having to pay up on some salary cap stuff. The Chiefs got exposed and don’t see them rebounding. Bills maybe? yet somehow I never take them seriously. Lions might surprise but given their coaching staff raid, I’m not feeling it with them just yet. Don’t feel the Packers or Vikings either. Seattle? Please…

I pick the Commodes only because they got close and are still ahead of the salary cap woes with a good QB on a rookie contract.

But honestly, it feels like the Ravens year. With the Chiefs curse over the NFL finally done with, it’s time for another AFC powerhouse to emerge. This could be their year.

Do you have any vibes for teams this season?

P.S. - no thoughts on the Cowboys right now. Too many question marks and holes to fill right now.

Yes it's too early. But don't discount the Chiefs. The will fill a couple of holes and should be SB contenders again. AFC is wide open with BUF, CIN, BAL all right there also.
I honestly believed that the Chiefs would be the first team to threepeat and felt that way all last season. But wow did they get exposed. You could be right, but it would take a lot to convince me of that right now.

Philly could repeat unless Barkley hits the wall. It hasn’t gone well for 2000 yard rushers the following season.

If the Bengals can draft good D and not start slow like they normally do in the beginning of seasons I don't see how anyone can stop their offense. Anyone who knows football knows Burrow was the real MVP and their defense let them down last season.

I'm not counting out the Eagles. They return their entire offense except for Becton. They have Steen to replace him and that first round bust from the Texans as a Stoutland reclamation project. They signed some vet depth and have players on defense that look like they are ready to take the next step to replace Williams and Sweat. Eagles have 20--freaking 20--picks in the next two drafts. Roseman will fill holes.

Saying this, the entire NFCE has a rough schedule this year. Washington got very lucky against the Bears and we should have swept them last year. I have to go with Philly, Detroit, and the Rams as favorites from the NFC.

AFC? Chiefs, Ravens, Bills. The Bengals are fool's gold with that garbage defense. Denver isn't ready. Texans need an o-line. Chargers are the other pocket of fool's gold.

Bengals scored 17 pts against the eagles last year. We stopped them

I think they need to add a compliment to Barkley. The Chiefs did a good job shutting him down and the only answer was a running QB. It worked well, but could get him hurt.

The Chiefs shut him down because they sold out and played an eight-man front almost the entire game to stop him. Spagnola said this in an interview with Baldy. He thought the back end could hold up against Hurts and the receivers. Eagles offense scored 33 without Barkley running wild.

They need to lighten Barkley’s workload because he’s not likely to stay healthy another full season. The Chiefs were bent on stopping him but he’s all they stopped. Philly was so good they still dominated.

Buffalo and Baltimore will still fail to get over the hump IMO. My sleeper team is the Chargers with one more Harbaugh offseason and draft.
