Are their any WR's in next years draft that are viewed as TOP 5 or TOP 10 level talents?

Are their any CB's in next years draft that are viewed as TOP 5 or TOP 10 level talents?

Just wondering, I know that their are a couple of QB's, as well as very likely a couple or RB's, and atleast one OL, that are viewed as elite level players. And I know that the draft next year is supposed to be very deep at WR, but I wasn't sure if their were any elite level WR's or if it is stocked more with mid to late first round type WR's.

Hes not Elite but Aqib Talib might be worth a later 1st rounder.

I realize he hasn't played anyone but he has some talent.

I think on the season between INTs and lining up as a WR he has like 8 touches, 35 yards per touch and 4 TDs.

I like WR Desean Jackson of Cal...this kid is a playmaker. He could replace Glenn as our speed WR.

Right now I'm questioning whether or not we'll have a top ten pick. Top 5 seems to be unlikely right now...but the season is young, and the Browns have plenty of time to flounder.

As far as Jackson goes, he's my top WR for right now, but he might not go as high as I previously thought. His last game was impressive, but he hadn't done squat prior to that.

If we miss out on the McFadden lottery, I think there will be a ton of talent in the teens and twenties this year. We can pick up a solid CB, WR, RB, or OL anywhere in the first round IMO.

Most of these guys should be around for both of our picks. They're all very good, but no one really stands out as "elite" or heads and shoulders above the rest.

CB - Antoine Cason, Aqib Talib, Justin King, Dejuan Tribble

WR - Early Doucet, Desean Jackson, Adarius Bowman, Harry Douglas

Desean Jackson is a very solid, fast receiver he would be a great pickup.

I am not saying that DeSean Jackson is not a great WR. But noone seems to bring up that he failed to top 50 yards receiving in either of the previous 4 games. Is noone concerned about that?

Actually, I think I kinda intimated that in my other post. ;)

He's a lot like Ted Ginn, Jr. in that he's a pretty good KR/PR but isn't that great of a WR. I'm not sure he's worth a 1st round pick. Maybe a high 2nd rounder. I do think he's better than Ginn, though.

Assuming we don't have a chance at McFad - I'd like our draft to start off something like this

1a- Steve Slaton
1b- Mike Jenkins CB - S. Fla.
2- Harry Douglas

I totally agree.

His size is worrisome as well.

As far as CBs?

I'm not sure there are too many great prospects. It's still too early.

I like Simeon Castille from Alabama in round two.

Yup. And I want to see how Ginn does this year before I get excited about Jackson.

As far as CBs go, people say that Justin King has a chance to be something special because of his speed. He has ok size too, not one of those 5'10" midgets.

Good size (not huge). Fast. Great hands. Always seems to get a step on the defender. And fortunately he's missing a lot of this season due to injury. I say fortunately, because otherwise he'd probably be a top 10-15 pick.
