I like music, so many extreme metal groups are out.

Specifically, those that distort the voice. For me the voice is just another instrument. Which is why I can listen to people singing about bull**** and still like it. They just have to be singing. Another reason I like some Slayer (everything with Dave Lombardo) while ensured Slayer was music and not dumb **** that Kerry King thought would make money.

I’ve dabbled in various forms of Metal but wouldn’t say I’m a Metal expert. Loved old school Anthrax, Slayer and Megadeth. Testament and Sepultura are a couple more I've spent time listening to. Like Rob Zombie (and White Zombie) and his little bro Powerman 5000. But I’m not a real deep aficionado

Nightwish and Epica are 2 of my very favorite bands. They are symphonic metal,not extreme.

Random question. Big fan of Arch Enemy myself, ever hear anything about Alissa White-Gluz’s personality?

I know she had a pretty ugly/controversial break up with her old band and have heard both sides, theirs seems much more credible IMO. I’ve also read some not so flattering remarks about her from other fans that have met or had interactions with her. I don’t like to believe everything I read on the internet but when enough people say the same thing it makes me wonder. I hope she’s not as bad as she seems, that’s a huge turn off for me from a fan perspective even if I really do love their music.

I love Arch Enemy but I like the original singer the best Angela Gassow. Alyssa has the look though. Blue hair never looked better.
