Any good Image programs to .....

Hello Bro's

Just wondering if there are any good image editing, creating programs out there besides Photoshop. Just can't afford that price, and I know some have gotten it for free but I've downloaded the trial version once so basically its hendered me from downloading that thing ever again haha.

I am really good at creating images but I just don't have a program to do it with and have researched a lot. Ive tried Image Ready but I didn't really like it to well.

Just wanted to see if yall had any good ideas of programs to use.

Paint Shop Pro is cheaper than Photoshop. There are people who use that here, I think. It is a pretty good program for less money. I use Photoshop though. IMO, Photoshop is better. You should save up to get it.

I haven't used it, but was reading something about a program called GIMP. Its a GNU open source image editor. No idea how good it is, but it might be worth checking out.

It stands for GNU Image Manipulation Program. My first thought was Pulp Fiction...bring out the gimp!
