Anyone into hunting? I've always been more of a trout fisherman myself, but lately I've been getting into hunting pigs with a bow and arrow.

Whats your game, where do you go, and what do you hunt with?

I usually hunt deer, duck, goose, and rabbit every year. Use my Remington 870 12ga. for everything. This was my first year that I didn't get out to do any... Just too busy with work.

Come summer I'm definitely making time for fishing, though.

I used to hunt in S. Texas a lot over the years. Deer, dove, and my favorite, quail. I haven't hunted in seven years, since I moved to NE Georgia, even though I'm surrounded by wildlife management areas. Just haven't taken the time;Starting and running your own company will do that. I do find time, however,to frequent any number of trout streams within 15-20 minutes of the house. I may try to come back next deer season to Texas and hunt S. Texas again with friends. However,a non resident big game license in Texas is fairly expensive.

I LOVE hunting. I am originally from North Dakota.

I hunt mainly pheasant with a 12 gauge Winchester shotgun.

I also hunt ducks, geese, grouse.

We hunt pig here in Hawaii, with dogs of course.

We fish more often. I charter a boat probably four times a year. It's around $400.00 bucks for a half day, $800.00 for a 8 hours. You can take 6-8 guys per boat. THAT'S where the booty is, off the Kona Coast of Hawaii.

Mahi-Mahi, Ono, Marlin, Ahi, it's good fun and good eating. If you hook something over 30-40lbs. your in for a fight and your gonna' be sore in the morning. It took me almost three hours one to pull in a marlin. A VERY SMALL Marlin, only 98lbs.!!!!!!!!!

I'm from PA, and lived in TX and MN, so all I ever Knew before moving here was fresh water, lake and river fishing. Trout, bass, catfish, etc............You go fishing HERE, and IT'S FISHING man!! Also, PA is one of the deer hunting mecca's in this country. I never really got into hunting deer, but I've hunted my share of small game, birds, rabbits, squirrels, etc........

I hunt ghosts. :laugh2:

Not sure if that counts to the rest of you all, but I take it very seriously. Have been doing it for many years, all around texas, and armed with my video and audio gear.
