Any Pet Cats Left??? Who would you like to see the Boys pickup in round 6?
MORGAN BURNS, CB
SCHOOL: KANSAS STATE | CONFERENCE: BIG12
COLLEGE EXPERIENCE: SENIOR | HOMETOWN: WICHITA, KS
HEIGHT/WEIGHT: 5-10 / 200 LBS.
STRENGTHS: Burns will immediately grab the attention of NFL teams due to his God-given speed only a few possess. He is versatile and productive at both cornerback and kickoff specialist. He was named team captain his senior season showing his leadership qualities and importance to the team concept. His ability as a return specialist aid in his value, with his explosiveness to hit the hole and unleashing another gear few can match. He is very instinctive in his cuts and finding clean air to gain ground. Defensively, he possesses the ability to jump routes with very good ball skills. Breaks and highpoints the ball effectively. His success on special teams will make him very favorable in the mid to late rounds of the NFL Draft. It is possible Burns can piggyback off the success of his former college teammate (Lockett) who in his rookie season led the NFL with 1,231 kickoff/punt return yards and a trip to the Pro Bowl.
