Has he been at Valley Ranch working out. What is his physical as well and mental condition is.

He's a very private person. No Facebook. No Twitter account active. No other social media. He avoids media guys.

I heard he is working out at Bama, ready to get to Oxnard and compete.

Have heard nothing. Have not heard he has even talked with the team or coaches. One would think that the team talked to him and he was ok with the trade but at this point...nothing.

Only his agent, Pat Dye Jr., has really said anything. They did get him a playbook I believe I read the agent say. I wish he hadn't missed the OTAs. We'd all know more at least.

I don't expect to hear anything until they report to training camp.

2. The reporters often vacation during this time period.

Yeah, this has always been a very slow, no news / info, 3 to 4 week time span.
Less than 2 weeks to go now, then we will get more than we want. well, we never get more than we want. Just need to filter out the crap.

Yes he has retired 3 times since he signed with us. Just kidding. lol

I was thinking about this just the other day. I thought it odd that nothing has been said by the team or McClain himself. To me, it's not a very good sign. I could be wrong but if the team was really excited or McClain was excited, one of them would have come out and said something, anything. They could be not saying anything on purpose. Because no matter what they say, the stupid media will make up crap or start crap. Not that they really care what the media says. They will just wait and see what transpires at TC.

It's not uncommon for a player signed after OTAs to not be seen until training camp. They are packing for training camp now and that likely includes a big part of the weight room equipment.

Most players want to take time away during this time, because once TC starts it's a real grind and it's time away from family.

Wrong, any news about any player during this between time is almost always not good. Good to hear he working out at Bama.

I think because he is private like Hos says, he will not speak to the media unless he absolutely has too. So he's laying low because he knows as soon as he gets to camp the first questions will be about his retiring and is he really committed. Plus the Dallas media asks the same questions over and over again which is annoying in itself.
