Anyone hearing whether Fredrick is playing with his old power? Any news?

Seems like something should have surfaced about him by now..

The key will be as the season goes on and the body gets some wear on it I would assume

Got some good reports from day.

We will probably know more about where he is once they practice in full pads

he took a vet day either yesterday or the day before. but i believe all that is scripted on who gets days off and when. but i believe ive read hes looked like his old self.

I'm waiting for the hype-train to start rolling, one ragdoll of Antwaun Woods and it's all aboard! :flagwave:

It has been in other threads. Sounds like he is ready to rock.

Matching his max on squats and hitting Personal Records on power cleans is an EXCELLENT sign that football specific power movements are returning to where he was - now it is the speed of game and putting it all together - what I love is that this guy stayed around team and was even coaching in some ways - super smart guy and mental side of things should return real quick. The physical news is amazing though. Remember, he had TWO other injuries he was healing up from surgeries on - so was limited in his lifting - to hear he is getting emotional about matching his record on squat lifts and then hitting bests on cleans is AWESOME news - kept reading that the explosive power/the fast/burst movement strength is last thing to return - that lifting news would suggest he is almost all the way back, if not actually all the way back......Good news for what sounds like a great guy and team-mate - gotta have been scary as hell from so many angles (career, income, family, personal health....)...

The first day in pads he took a veterans day off but the next day he was out there in his new pads and going "full go" according to him and felt great. He is back lifting his "max" in the weight room too which was a big deal to him.

I haven't heard anything about our center. Is he practicing and, if so, how has he looked?

If he's good to go then the Oline should be great this season and much better then last year.

My only worry is that they show favoritism to Connor Williams even if he isn't the best candidate.

They have so many quality options at Left Guard that they should just pick the best guy but I do not trust them to do this.

Joe Looney was so much better then all these other guys last year that it's kinda hard for me to believe that Connor Williams surpassed him but we'll see.

I know McGovern got injured in the weight room and I don't know how that is effecting him but he is more of the road grader type that Ron Leary was and we have greatly missed Ron Leary.

Damn, that was fast. Im suprised he could get back to his max so quickly. Awesome news, thanks!

Thank you all. If he's back to where he was, just think how much better we will be in the red zone this year. Looney did a good job, but he's not Travis Frederick
