Any news on keeping Hilton and Peters?

We should cut Ball and draft practically anyone decent to replace him. Chances are, we'd end up much better off in the end.
I really thought after missing the year he would come back strong. He was crap at RT and LT.

Peters has a better chance of returning than Hilton. Hilton started off well, but faded down the stretch.

Peters should be back.
Why?

It seemed like he had no plan to play, got fat, and then decided he wanted another season.
He's a HOFer who has made 2mil/year the last 2 seasons and almost 120mil over his career.
What's the point?

I don't know why he's playing at all.
Really don't know why he'd particularly want to be here.

...I like Peters lots. He really added gusto to OL.

Maybe Hilton would have done better, under different OC.

..shame, if they are let go.
time to move on. those guys are glorious names from the past. if we are that desparate for those two players who are way way way past their prime, then we suck even more than I thought.
those guys are closer to a HOF induction than playing prime football

Hilton didn't want to play until November because he wanted to watch his son play high school ball. His son is still in HS, so I expect Hilton will want to do that again.

Peters will be 41 and coming off a hip injury. I'd rather make him a coach than spend a roster spot on him at this point.

as long as keeping Hilton doesnt stop us from getting some REAL help at WR. We need a good WR to play alongside CeeDee because a bunch of mediocre guys arent cutting it.
