You mean to play for the rest of the year. Or bring back for a new contract.Or see how Kneeland does before they decide on DLaw.

MM said he is (DLaw) close to returning. Which means nothing. They say that then it is 5 weeks later.

As for an extended contract. Yeah, I can't see him getting one regardless of how Kneeland looks. They should draft a DE. But they will probably use a 5th round pick then tell how they got value. You know, like the last 12 mid round DE picks that did not work out.
Armstrong was the best of all of them. And he is not here.

he came back for one game against washington, i believe they felt after first game back 3 days rest wasn't good and let him rest..he should be back against Cinci

they did that because he was just came back against Washington and they thought 3 days for his situation wasn't good enough so I believe he'll play in cincy they just held him out for precautionary reasons..

They should draft another regardless. Players should never be treated like civil service employees. They should always compete with the understanding that they are only the starter until the team finds someone better.

The team must constantly look for someone better. At the very least, it should raise the starter's competitive level and make him a better player. They should always be looking over their shoulders.
