Any news on Kneeland?

Kneeland looks like he can play, but he wouldn't stop me from drafting another pass rusher if the right guy is available.

That's one example of why I don't like drafting for need. Going into 2023, we looked stacked at DE. Parsons was an All-Pro, we had Lawrence, we had Armstrong, we had Fowler, Williams was looking promising, and how the heck are we going to give everyone snaps. 2 offseasons later in 2025, our DE room will pretty much be Parsons and nobody.

MM said he is (DLaw) close to returning. Which means nothing. They say that then it is 5 weeks later.

As for an extended contract. Yeah, I can't see him getting one regardless of how Kneeland looks. They should draft a DE. But they will probably use a 5th round pick then tell how they got value. You know, like the last 12 mid round DE picks that did not work out.
Armstrong was the best of all of them. And he is not here.

You're acting like he's a graded 1st round player who somehow magically fell alllllllllllllllll the way to the 5th round. He's drafted in the 5th round for a reason because there's time that is needed for said player to develop. We get all gashed up because they gas these players up only for them to be duds.

You see how this team does man, they have these emotional ties to these players and they end up bringing them back, I hope not

Round drafted doesn't equate to level eventually earned in value contributed after early work and dedication depending on learning.

Yep I’m pretty sure “value” is a big part of Stephens “secret sauce” that he mentioned some years ago.
