Any news on Stanback?

havent read anything about Stanback, what's his progress?

I read alot about hurd and Austin..Not what i was expecting but W/E.

On Stanback: He's probably where Miles and Hurd were last year. How fast comes along is hard to gague. He has a year in, he learned a lot last year but was out a lot. He's had 100 percent attendance in the offseason. He shows flashes. He makes some big plays that make you say 'wow,' then every once in a while, he doesn't run a route the right way.

Should be interesting to see which receiver is cut this year. Maybe they let Glenn go and Danny A gets a chance to make the roster.

BTW, I like the sig of The Wandernator.... One of my favorite fighters of all time....

May sound weird, but if he's where Hurd and Austin where last year, I'd actually take that. That's actually some pretty good improvement and shows that he has potential to make it in this league, IMO.

I agree. I was especially pleased to hear that Austin thinks he's unstoppable and the WRs were catching ball on our DBs. Of course the pressure from the front is not the same now so it's hard to judge but it is at least good news.

W/o pressure on the QB it's tough to judge how much separation Hurd & Austin are getting but at least the news is good for this early in preseason. Better that then hearing/reading they dropping ton of passes, screwing up etc. We will get a much better feel in TC but sure hate to wait. That's the life of a football fan.
