Any News Or Rumors On Drew Bledsoe's Status?

I was watching Grossman's shatty foot-work last night and I thought self "Where have I seen a guy move just as badly as Grossman..."

And then it hit me!

When he kept going back and falling or getting sacked in that one series...I admit I thought of drew.:laugh2:

Back onto the topic.

I thought I read a blurb a few weeks back, maybe a month or more back...that the Texans might be interested in Bledsoe in the offseason.

I don't know why so many people have to ridicule him so much. He didn't carry us to the SuperBowl but we could have had MUCH MUCH worse QB play over the past couple of seasons.

Damn, we are going to find out real soon if old Deadslow has some sort of a death wish.

Agreed, things improved dramatically with Romo. After all, the team went from 9-7 with Bledsoe to 9-7 with Romo and they got terrible QB play the last few games against teams with winning records.

Until the playoffs of course, when they lost with...terrible QB play..and a fumble from, guess who, the QB :)

It was a huge upgrade :)

Ditto. He just doesn't fit in Dallas anymore. He will probably play next year and there are opportunities to start...

Miami (If Culpepper is still not healthy)
Cleveland
Houston
Oakland
Detroit
Minnesota

From the above teams I think Minn. would be the best fit. B. Johnson I doubt will be back and IMO I dont think T. Jackson is ready to start. They have a good o-line but need an upgrade at reciever. Other teams interested in Drew and have qb questions for 2007 could be Tampa Bay, Carolina, KC, Jax, and our friends in Wash and Phil.

If he doesn't retire, I hope he goes to a place like Chicago, Detroit or Oakland that will appreciate that he is an upgrade over there current situation. He can still add value somewhere and, if the stars line up, who knows. You know it a fickle league that any qb can succeed in when qb's like Grossman, Rothlesburger and Dilfer make it to the promised "superbowl" land. He is still a Lexus compared to those 3 :)

Excellent point. The Vikings would be a great team for him as well.

Trade him to Chicago to Thomas Jones.

I just saw him doing a sunflower seeds commercial.... they actually used footage from our regular season games :D

I hope he has success where ever he goes. I always liked the guy and he never gave anything less than his all on every play.

Neither did Q, Hutch, Vinny, Leaf, or any other QB who followed Aikman. People are going to rip anyone who fails. Unfortunately he did. Good guy, but that isn't enough.

I think I saw Bledsoe in that Kevin Federline Super Bowl commercial.
