I remember those days then getting excited when you could buy a huge satellite dish and watch anything in the country. I paid over 3000 for that dish back in the late 70s. Of course a week after I bought it they cut the size down to a third of the size and less than half the price. Listening to the banter between coselle and Meredith between commercials at that time was awesome. It is amazing how fast the technology changed for tv watching.

Back when tobacco companies could advertise and pharmaceutical companies couldn't.

And slip and fall lawyers couldn't either. That was a time when the ABA thought advertising on TV made them look unprofessional.
