Beside OT and helmets.

Here's one I like to hear your opinion about that drives me crazy

Peyton Manning comes out of the huddle with 30 seconds left and he goes under center, he then comes out and makes 92 hand signals and then goes back under the center only to come out again and make more hand signals. This drives me nuts and that's why I don't like Peyton Manning. My suggestion would be once you break the huddle you have ten seconds to snap the ball. I know this kinda helps the defense with snap counts but nobody wants to see a side show on every snap.

What do you think of a radical change to field goals.

19-35 yards is 2 points
36-52 yards is 3 points
53 plus is 4 points

Here's another big one for me that drives me crazy.

After every incomplete pass the wide reciever always whines to the ref about pass interference. Under my rule that would be 15 yards. These guys influence calls too much imo and is getting out of hands.

Lastly, I would go back to the way the clock was stopped and started in 80's and 90's. After every out of bounds the clock stops and not started til the next play. Football you only get 16 games and I don't know why they want to pace the game so fast. I know about tv time but you can always go 1pm kickoff and 430 instead of 1 and 4-415. In addition, your paying at least a 100 to go why not you give the fans another 10-15 plays.

I always thought they were going to push NFL Europe's rule eventually of the clock runs regardless of pentaly's etc etc until the 5 min mark of each half. That would of made me upset because that would take 10-15 plays away from the game.

I still don't understand why they haven't made a rule opposing tossing a red flag seconds before a field goal.

After they instated the rule allowing for challenges, Shanahan found a clever way to take advantage of a lack of foresight. You would think that hindsight would have encouraged them to close the loophole.

It seems unsportsmanlike.

I know it is within the rules, but rules can be created and changed.

are you talking about calling timeout just as the kicker kicks the ball or actually throwing the red flag challenging the previous play?

How about a rule that forbids new rules from being made frivulously, and one that rescinds many of the new rules that has ruined the game over the past 20 years.

Not a new rule but a reversal of a current one. Get rid of the 5 yard stuff with the wr....Bring back bump and run all over the field....make these pansy wrs earn a catch. WR's have it too easy....man up :D

Get rid of the touchback on kickoffs unless the ball is kicked out of the endzone.

A rule stating that there would be no more rule changes for at least 5 years. Every single season the league changes some rule or another

Any time the Cowboys do something stupid, they get a re-do.

I miss seeing players getting to celebrate. The 15 yard penalty for excessive celebration after scoring a TD should be repealed. I like the creative ways players expressed themselves. As much as I don't care for T.O., I thought his Sharpie et al celebrations were creative. Ochocinco too for that matter. Loved his "River Dance" celebration and Icky Woods' "Icky Shuffle", Jamal Anderson's Dirty Bird, but I never liked Deion Sanders' strut.

1. Go back to 1966 rules: can hit QB, can hit receivers anywhere on the field, can't hold, field goals into end zone come out to the 20, etc.
2. Overtime: each team must get the ball once--simple!
3. commercials only during natural breaks of the game: time outs, halftime, etc.
4. No halftime shows.

Dumb. PM is pretty much the best presnap guy in the league. He can read the D pre snap, communicate the coverage scheme to his team and create a serious advantage. You might not like the "show" but that is just plain smart football that PM is bringing.

Take the skirts off the QB. You can breathe on a QB without getting a flag.

Sure. But I don't want to see Jim Sorgi and Jon Kitna battling it out in a big Sunday night game either.
