It's a mess over there.
Political discussion tends to always be a mess (which is why it's not allowed her), but that place is extra awful. Needs some moderation imo. A ton of 1 note posters who just post to antagonize, without ever actually discussing anything. On both sides.

Not sure I see a way around that for a political forum. Anonymity and strong opinions will always lead to de-railed conversations.
