I think many of us were dreaming of a pairing of someone like Micah with quinnen, that would have been a game changer certainly.

That said any news of outside pass rush? Good bad or ugly?

That and LB still worry me immensely, cuz those suck and good luck to the secondary regardless

Gary is the only pass rusher that I’ve heard is getting consistent pressure

Barham and Overshown did some blitzing but that’s not the same as what I think you’re looking for.

Eze got into a fight. That’s been his big news

We had five-plus sacks in the joint practice with the Rams. Some of those were by backups against backups (I believe Isaiah Land had two), but I know that Eze had one, Quinnen had one and I think that James had one on a blitz (probably also against backups).

Lawrence is going to take some time not sure if this is the year for him. He is currently tied at the second spot with Sam Williams on the depth chart which means its still an open competition for that back up spot.

Late first rounder and was known he was going to be a project. He has all the tools tho. I think we expect too much from rookies in their first year. The game is hard and development is a real thing. I feel he will be alright and this year we will see it in glimpses.

Yes we need this to take this defense over the top. Would be surprised if we didn't get someone before season starts. Right now feels like gonna be too much pressure on Gary and EZE to perform so another guy to relieve this is much needed.

I think when you have the worst defense in the league you can’t take a project in the first round.
