Must be a common opponent? They would both finish 10-6 with a 8-4 conf record.

Lions win the tie breaker with us in a heads up tie breaker. With a 3 way tie with atl we still lose out. But If the falcons could win the division and put the saints or/and Panthers to 10-6, us and det are in. I don't see the lions losing, especially if Rodgers doesn't play the last game. So in some ways pulling for atl is a good thing

yes.....

we win out of course
- TB beats Falcons tonight

Week 16
- TB beats Panthers
- Saints beat Falcons

Week 17
- Falcons beat Panthers

This is correct. The only scenario that allows us to not need a lions loss is this one where the Bucs win the next two.

Falcons win the South, saints and panthers out.

Ok this is impossible
Let's hope the lions drop 1 as that is far more likely against GB

If Lions win out, then we of course have to also.
But I believe 2 of the 3 of Panthers, Saints, Falcons need to lose 2 games. I don’t think it matters which two. We would hold conference record over Panthers and Saints, but need to be one game ahead of Atlanta.

If we are tied with Detroit, We will have same conference record, but they would hold tie breaker on better record involving common opponents by I think 1 game.
