Any update on Geoff Swaim?

Been looking but haven't seen anything. My bigger concern is Zack Martin's sprained knee. First heard about it today but he played through it in the second half.

The only injury update I found in cornerback C.J. Goodwin broke his arm.

I was wondering the same thing. The loss and Cooper trade seem to be the main headlines. Despite what he is, he's still our number one TE. It didn't look good, but he was walking around on the sidelines

He has been significantly improving week over week. He is on track to outperform Witten in terms of stats last year.... He is not a superstar, but if he keeps improving at this pace, we have a solid young #1 TE.

Any news here?

Think this story is key to the teams success for the rest of the season and not seeing much of anything.

We're probably not going to hear much until next week about it because of the bye.

Mickey said it was a severely bruised knee and that he wouldn’t be practicing at all this week. I haven’t heard anything beyond that in about two days.

Swaim is replaceable 100%

Just a below average TE, that we can replace with 3 more below average TEs we have in our 53 man roster.

Swaim is a below average NFL starter, but our other 3 TEs are still just developmental projects. They're not even backup quality yet. Swaim is significantly better than all the rest.

Swaim has been playing very good. Catching sky scrappers and worm burner passes. "He just need a coach who knows how to scheme to his strength." sound familiar?

heard he is having surgery or is out because of his knee. We're down to 3 TEs. We need to trade for a TE, too.

Can we just trade him? ;)

What happened to that guy name Wells...come on down!

You may want to check your facts.
Did you actually come up with this yourself or did you hear someone else say it and you just ran with it.

Witten had 63 catches last year
Swaim is on pace for 43 if he didn’t get hurt. Much less now.
And availability is almost as good as ability.

Swaim would be a very good number 2 te for us. For now, prior to the injury, he’s been a solid starter.
