About 1-2 weeks ago TE Dan Campbell's agent made it public that Cowboys hadn't contacted him about resigning Campbell. This came a few days after it was reported in Dallas media that Cowboys had contacted Gurode & Fujita agents expressing interest in resigning them but no mention in that article concerning Campbell. I don't think Campbell should be resigned cause his blocking wasn't as good as before his foot injury. Think we should pick up a another TE (FA or later round draft pick) who better receiver then Campbell was. Matt Bernstein or Garret Milles are 2 young players available in the draft who should be there in 4th-5th rounds.

I don't think Campell comes back UNLESS we are left with no other options after the conculsion of the draft.

I think I agree Mickey. You know how BP loves TE's and after the year Campbell had he knows we need a better blocking TE. Keeping Witten in to block (not his strength) only limits the offense.

I thought Pierce played pretty well before he got hurt, and he's a much better receiver than Campbell. With Ryan and Curtis also in the mix I don't think we draft a TE.

Besides we can always use Canty.:lmao2:

If we upgrade the line, there is absolutely no reason to bring Campbell back.

I really liked Campbell and was happy we brought him over from the Giants. But after his knee injury, he just hasn't been the steamroller he was before.

I don't think we bring Campbell back, unless for vet's minimum. We'll draft a blocking truck and probably look into some FA alternatives.

TE DEPTH SUCKED (SUCKS)

Watch Heath Miller today. Remember the name Pope and Davis.

Campbell basically sucks

Pierce and Ryan are fringers at best in the NFL.

Campbell seems like a dude and I certainly wouldn't mind having him back. That being said, his being resigned certainly shouldn't be at the top of the team's priority list.

He was brought here as a bridge to BP's start to communicate what was needed and to bring leadership to the offense which had none.

Now, with Bledsoe, Key, Rivera, T. Glenn and others on offense and Palmer arriving..Campbell's role will be absorbed. Just progress..nothing personal.

As for the blocking duties, we MUST have a receiving threat at TE other than Witten. The two TE sets BP wants to run from must also be thrown to.

I wouldn't be surprised to see a FA TE brought in.

No it's called doing an impression of the chimps at the zoo. Like those chimps you just throw crap at the wall.

Every once and awhile something sticks...of course it took 3 freaking years, but who's counting...most just piles up on the floor.

Your pile could fertilize every farm in Iowa by now.

After all your insults - what do you have to say on topic?????

Our TE play behind Witten this year WAS HORRIFIC. Thats pertinent, documented and on topic. Points lost on you as you try and digress to offtopic bla bla bla.

Campbell had 3 catches last year

Our inability to run or protect the QB is more than documented.

Any update on his abdominal/groin injury(s)?;)
