I know he wasn't active on Monday, was it because of his hammy or did the coaches just want to play Street? Anyone know? I would like to see him active and use him with Lucky as deep threats to clear out the middle for Dez, Bease and Witten. Street is just a waste of an active spot now.

I am ready to see what Butler can do. Hate to see another trade and wasted pick. But seems that is what Street is showing as well.
not ready to completely give up on him. but he has not impressed either. Seems every good play he has, there are 2 bad plays.
Well, plays like the fumble, not staying in bounds, catching it with a foot out of bounds.

could be concentration issues. How do the work on that?

By concentrating on concentrating...:)

According to the practice reports, he's been healthy for the past 2 weeks.

I think Street plays on more special teams, if Butler does at all. Hence him getting the nod. Frustrating. We've yet to see what he and Dez could be lined up beside one another.

Agree. He also seems, limited catches taken into consideration, to have much better hands and awareness than Butler

Forget about his involvement in special teams.

I think he can be a special deep threat.

Help Dez stretch offense.

We are fighting for our lives here.
Be creative, use playmakers... Or players with playmaker potential.

WHAT ARE WE WAITING FOR???????!!!!!!

Broaddus said in a tweet that we might see Street benched over his fumble and Butler activated

As I look at the Offensive skill players on our roster, we have no "speed burners" at all. Either we shy from drafting these type or players or we do not know how to maximize their speed into our offensive scheme. Jimmy use to love "track type guys". You cannot teach speed. Speed can kill the opposing team's defense and will greatly enhance our special teams play.

It's a process....

I find it funny how we all immediately want to see these "new" guys like for example Michael at RB, Green RT and Butler at WR on the starting squad with visions of T Dorsett 99 yard runs, pancake blocks and Bob Hayes fly patterns. I have to trust that the coaches know what their doing to put the best product on the field. Once/If we're mathematically eliminated, it will be interesting to see what new combinations of players get some PT or not.
On the other hand it took half the season to trust in Lucky and look what has bloomed before our eyes. Not sure if he just needed development or JG was late making the call to get him on the field. We'll never know.

Lucky might be lucky after all !!!!

ST downs aren't insignificant for a 4th WR option. Street's a better blocker, too, which factors into his offensive snaps. Even if you're not a primary on a play, if you can block downfield, the coaches are going to appreciate that.

Though his fumble and his penalties on Teams ought to probably have him on the bench this week.
