Yep. Jaylon at SAM. LVE at MLB. Jaylon move to WLB when Lee retires.

But I don't like Marinelli's talk about "competing for a spot". In the base, there are 3 spots. We've got 3 good LBs. The point should be to make best combined use of them, not see who is best at any spot.

If Jaylon is better than LVE at Mike, as he almost certainly is today, what then? LVE sits? Does Jaylon sit if LVE is better?

I can't imagine even our coaches would be dumb enough to sit the loser of the MLB competition between Jaylon and LVE, only to trot Damien Wilson out onto the field at SAM.

LOL, well played.......but to be fair, I'm in my late 50s - I got no problems with the positions - but its the flex part that reminds me that I'm not 20 years old anymore.

I married a girl who headed a 4-H club and her family owns most of the land between Fredericksburg and Conroe.

There's no edge.

Although I will say.. there are a ton of dinosaur tracks on their land that needs to be photographed.

The 800 and later 801 were much better than the more common 8N.

The key is the upgrade to a 12 volt system.

Unlike an 8n, the 800 has tons of power. Mine is 60 years old and can tow anything and pull up stumps with the best of them. I'm still in rhe process of getting my Poppin Johnny fixed. I want to take both to the antique tractor show next year.
 
Can't wait to see the dude myself. Still think he's a bit lumbering from the tape all saw predraft but I hope I'm wrong. Love the fact that he is huge. If he pans out and gets it he could be a DROY candidate in all honesty considering he will play a lot.

Yep, you can just keep rebuilding those old Fords forever.

My Grandad bought 2 new 801s (gasoline) in about 1961 and put a front end loader on one of them. We ended up with the one that didn't have the front end loader. We converted to alternator and 12V battery. They originally had generators (DC).

The poppin Johnnys seemed a bit more awkward to work on than the Fords.

I don't live on a farm anymore but I've got a Case IH from the eighties that's about 80 HP and a Track type Bobcat.

I grew up on a farm. Hauling hay, planting crops, cultivating row crops, harvesting crops, feeding cattle, shoveling grain. Hard *** work.
