To be fair injuries to Durant and Lee have something to do with that.

When you think about it, we lost Lee, and McClain stepped up. Then Durant stepped up. Then we lost Durant, and Hitchens stepped up. Then today we lost Hitchens, and Carter stepped up. I think we've got a cat coaching that LB corps this season, and he's got to be getting nervous about all the lives he's using up back there.

I liked the in game story about the Zack Martin ankle sprain when Garrett tried to take him out and said to him "We should probably sit you down, how do you feel" and Martin said "I feel great" and ran back on the field before they could sit him down.

faster than Dunbars status? Hitchens really shocked a lot of people.

:)

Dunbar's shown flashes. He's a guy I really thought we'd see even more from in the screen game this season. We need to start playing with two footballs on offense to get some of these guys some looks.

he can play this week with a moderate low ankle sprain. any type of high ankle sprain and he's probably done for the year

no, we really dont. I think we did better with im NOT showing us his talent. If he had any, i think he would have been used. Hitchens showed up this season. Even better than Lawerence, still excuses for him, but thats ok too.

I think Eberflus should get tons of credit for this.

I think Eberflus should get tons of credit for this.

I really think its a last name used thing. Last year or the year before when we got Eberflus, couldnt hear enough about him. Now nthing, now McClay. Who is attributing Linehan to a job well done. Actually the job we needed that Garrett coulndt do? And we knew Rod was going to be ok and he did better than expected. The running game was awesome. Dunbar was the star this board knew him to be, Carter and his god status was remarkable all year long. Needing Melton to many was key, and the big name left out, Bailey who really has done wonders for thsi team, who has more confidence in our kicking now with that guy on this team?

Short term memory helps many. I think a lot of things go wayside when people are handing out the turn around credit. Yet, no one and i mean no one has thanked the GIants for being so bad, the Skins for dropping today and the Eagles for not being the dominant football gods many proclaimed them to be. To be fair A lot dindt see it, i will admit that. I thought they were better than us but not playoff better. And a lot of credit has to go to Murray for the wonderful year he had. Ok, possible it might be only one year, we all hope it isnt. but he got a special year.

Looks like a high ankle. From @profootballdoc based off video analysis (he is REALLY accurate)

"Anthony Hitchens LB @dallascowboys with high ankle type injury. Return in doubt. Fingers crossed for playoffs. @NFLCharean"

Looked more like a medial malleolar sprain. There was no rotational component to the injury, which is usually necessary to generate a high ankle sprain. Did not look too severe on my review.

season over him. too bad. dont like the idea of wilbur starting, but it is what it is. man our LBs have been cursed this year.

The season isn't over for him. At least wait for something official.

And the Young LB Curse for this team continues again. Every year, every promising young LB gets hurt - Sean Lee, Bruce Carter, Devonte Holloman, McClain has battled injuries this season, and now Hitchens.

We can hope, but how many high ankle sprains are less than 4 week injuries?

If it is that severe he could possibly be back if we get to the NFCCG or Super Bowl but let's wait and see first.

BTW, how about some love for Bruce Carter. He had 1 lucky/heads-upINT, 1 great INT and a huge stop and tackle on a 4th down play. He shows flashes...if he can stay consistant, that would help so much
