Unless Jerry plans to severely tick off one of our main sponsors in Reebok ..

actually reebok is an official nfl sponsor. dallas has a relationship and deal with nike. at least they did at one point....don't know if it still exists for shoes. i remember a big deal about it several years ago.

I think I read somewhere that Jones was supposedly having a hard time getting the dough he wanted for naming rights, anyone know if this is true?

I'm still hoping for "Landry Field" or "Tom Landry Stadium" but I know thats probably wishful thinking.

I am guessing he will name it Jerry Jones field and within a few years, he will have a statue made of himself to be put at the entrance for everyone to see as they enter the stadium.

That commerical he does where he rips the headset off the coordinator is Pepsi or Dr Pepper?

The ad execs must go crazy when they finally get us talking about one of their ads and we still have no idea which brand it advertised!

I think NBA naming rights deals are way cheaper than NFL naming rights.

They shouldn't be - I would think with that many games, basketball arena names get a lot more mentions...

Ever one git over it.
Landry is so 1980s. Bad 1980s.

No one under the age of 30 will fully know who Landry was and this stadium is for the longhaul and needs to stay releveant.

Keep the statue at the old stadium site and if and when they tear Texas Stadium down, save the statue's site as a minipark to be named tom landry park on hallowed ground.
damn I am smart.

Tom Landry is down here in the valley.....The two mission schools play in the stadium.

I think it should be Texas Stadium or something like Cowboy Coliseum. Then sell the naming rights to the field. And if there's going to be a new practice facility, name it after Tom.

Grandeur for the Stadium.
Money on the Field.
History in our Preparation.

The Dallas Cowboys of Eldorado

The only name that makes sense?

Well I think you answered it in your own post :)
Paul Brown named after Brown family.

I could definitely see Jerry naming it after HIS family.

The Orville Redenbacher Bowl?
