Anybody else find Rodgers cocky?

I say that Rodgers is not only the best QB on the field but probably the smartest person on the field. The game is slow to him and he processes things probably ten times faster than anyone else. He is a savant. That is why people like Skip Bayless dont get it. Because they are too intellectually challenged (stupid) and cannot comprehend why he does the things he does. I think he is smiling a lot of times because the defense thinks they are doing something to confuse him and he has it figured out before they even put it in play. He reacts to them not out of cockiness but out of pure, "aha, try something else sucker cause that did not work." Then it starts again and he does it again.

He probably is cocky. But so is Romo, Dez, Brady, Brees, Kaeperpunk, and a host of others. Being cocky is not a bad thing. Unless he is on the team trying to beat yours.

He won a Superbowl.

Yea, so did this clown

We need to somehow get pressure and make him move in the pocket or it will get ugly quick.

I experienced this with John Elway. When I made the comparison to Staubach, it was like night and day. Roger is so humble. It's an endearing quality that makes the greats that much greater.

Something about his on the field demeanor when things are going good I don't like. He's a big time front runner.

You are absolutely correct, it is something I noticed a long time ago. He is not just confident like some are saying. He acts like a POS gnat very often when GB is thriving. He will very subtly fist pump in a defender's face after a good play or will do little annoying celebrations if he, for example, scrambles 4 yards and slides for a 1st down. It isn't even competitive edge type of trash talking that you see on a b-ball court. It is really annoying and quite pansy-ish. He does the type of things that would make you want to tell him to "shut the #%*@ up and fight him if it was in a classroom.

im confident but people take it as a stuck up jerk a lot too...it happens. i dont think he really means to be.

Maybe just confident, but like Tony you have to be, to do what you do,and be where your at, Wilson ha s this attitude as well.

Dude has this quiet arrogance about him like he knows he's better than everyone on the field. And he is.

Add in "the belt", and doing first down gestures with his arm after running for a first, & yeah he's pretty damn cocky. I don't have a problem with it, but I'm sure I will on Sunday though lol.

He is very cocky. But, thats what I like about him, because he can back it up. Kaepernick, another cocky dude, can't back it up, so it just comes off pathetic.

He's very confident and knows he's good. He comes across as a passive aggressive Jerk often. He even puts reporters in their place. Because he's good and smart..there's absolutely nothing anyone can do about it. It sucks but it's the truth.

the difference about rodgers is when they start running up the score on teams, he'll start laughing in their face, pointing, making 1st down signs, etc. I know teams have gotten annoyed with it b/c when things are going bad he acts like his **** doesn't stink.

Hopefully our defense will get the last laugh on Sunday. I'm calling it now. We get an INT this Sunday. Rodgers hasn't thrown one at home since last year.

if our dline keeps deflecting balls like they have the last few weeks then i can definitely see it.

It seems like we have more INT's from tipped balls than anything. I would have the front 7 throwing up their arms every pass play.
