Anybody else miss the days when the offense broke the huddle faster?

When the offense would break the huddle with 20 seconds left on the play clock, Aikman's cadence would pierce thru your tv speakers as if you were one of his linemen, and then the play would begin.

No shenanigans.

No pre-snap penalties.

No "Kill, Kill, Kill".

No rushing thru audibles to snap the ball with .0001 seconds.

Everything was so much simpler with Aikman.

"BLUE 42, BLUE 42, HUT HUT!"

*sigh*

Simpler times I guess.....

Who doesn't miss those days, but Its not 1993 anymore. Aikman's in the booth, Irvin is on NFL Network and Emmitt is doing commericals. Of course, Garrett is still with us.

Yeah I understand where you're coming from but it's a different time and the league evolves. One thing that hasn't changed is execution. I miss that too.

I miss knowing we were going to run the ball and knowing the D could do Nothing about it!

Hey at least you get to see the same offensive schemes.

I'm glad we haven't evolved like the rest of the league.

If aikman were in the league now he would have complete control of his offense like all these guys do and would be making all kinds of adjustments also.

Yeah, I miss the Superbowl days. 'Anybody *not* miss them?' is probably a better question.

I miss a REAL damn running attack! This is ridiculous, no commitment at all! Offensive linemen want to attack the line of scrimmage instead of being rushed SMH

Must've been nice to get to watch a team that was so stacked due to no salary cap.

I miss the days when a real football mind controlled player personnel and roster moves.

The Cowboys were the youngest and lowest paid team in the NFL during their first 90s superbowl win, when teams started raiding Johnson's roster Jerry had to pay to keep players THEY developed, they were not free agents so I don't think of it as paying for mercenaries when you are paying players you drafted or picked up off the streets or traded for and made a player out of them.

I miss having an accurate QB.

For what it is worth, I also miss D. White punting after failing on 3rd down.
