For the past two days, I've been sneezing like crazy, my nose is constantly leaking, i have sinus pressure and I've had a headache now for almost a week.

This absolutely sucks. I don't get sick very often (in fact i don't remember the last time i was sick) and when i do it's usually not this bad.

If your headache has been lingering for a week, I suggest you palpate your sinus cavities for 30-40 seconds and it should relieve a good amount of the pressure. 1. Take your middle and index finger on both hands and touch your eyebrows. 2. Now from there, move them up 1/2cm until you feel them hit a valley in the bone structure of your forehead. 3. now take both thumbs and put them on the upper-inner part of your orbital bone (so both thumbs would be on both sides of the location where nose meets forehead. for 30 seconds, put a great amount of pressure into the cavity. you will fill a gradual build up of pressure and after 30 seconds is up, you should feel relieved shortly. hope that helps the headaches.

I have the same thing. I get strep like every 2 years but I just pop antibiotics for a few days and I'm fine. This crap won't go away though, it's annoying.

It's all over here, too. Our daughter was sick for a week, then I caught it for a week.

It's been going around for about a month now. Friends of mine in Utah first mentioned it, then it made it's way into New Mexico and the Phoenix area. About three days after a friend posted her cold on FB, I caught it here in San Antonio. Now another friend in Denver is saying her family is just now getting it, but I've got friends here too that are just now getting the same dang cold.

The kids around here are passing stuff around here that puts them down for at least 4 to 5 days. It's awful.

Had it last month.

Sinus headaches. Stuffy nose to the point I did not sleep for two days because I could not breath well. Missed some work.

Now there has been 2 other people at my work that have missed a couple of days so far as they have had it.

It was odd as I did not get anything in my chest for the most part.

However the sneezing and blowing of my nose was so often that I think it was the first time my ribs hurt from not having a chest cold and coughing.

One other thing. My lips were so dry and sore it was driving me crazy. It was the first time in a long time that I used chap stick on a regular basis during the cold.

I've had a monster cold since Monday, finally starting to feel better now

Yeah, I don't have anything in my chest either but my lips have been unusually dry not that you mention it.

I've been trying to avoid the Neti pot but i might have to do it now. I woke up this morning and both nostrils were so stuffy that i could only breath through my mouth.

Sorry to hear that ethiostar. I'm starting to get allergies for the first time in my life. :( I might be purchasing a neti pot too.

Hows the young one anyway?

He is doing great, although he has turned into a little barbarian. I wish i could harness his energy somehow, i would be able to provide electricity to the city and retire sooner than later:D.

This pic was taken around his 1st birthday. He is now 18 months old.

Wow, it seems like it was only six to eight months ago. :laugh2: Time is flying by lately.

I've been hocking up lung butter for two days now. I called in to work today. I've just been interwebzing and I'm about to watch: The American, Road Kill, A Sunny/Philadelphia Christmas, and some Edward Norton prison movie. Get better man!
