Anybody Ever Use Blow In Attic Insulation - Good or Bad?

Im air conditioning my garage and have already insulated the garage door. I need to do the attic but have a hip style roof and lots of trusses in the way which makes the corners and far edges almost impossible to get to.

Home Depot lets you use the machine for free when you buy the blow in insulation. Seems like a much easier way to get to the hard to reach places. You can get the pink fiberglass blow in, or some eco friendly version.

Anybody tried it before?

Any thoughts?

It's good stuff and is still used regularly in new home construction. If you have soffit vents then you will need to take steps to prevent the insulation from blocking airflow.

Make sure you wear a full respirator, tyvek jumpsuit, and gloves. I would seal any open areas, like on your wrists and ankles with duct tape. You don't want that crap getting on your skin or in your lungs or eyes.
