Anybody feeling we should trade Micah?

The team beats an anemic Steelers offense(18.4 PPG, good for 26th in the league), and Parsons is no longer needed.

If some team wants to go Ricky Williams or Walker dumb, sure, entertain it.
But he's still an elite player. Season isn't dictated by 3.75 games under a new DC's vision.
So a new DC is why his sacks are down?

No, cause the other teams could run the ball at will on back to back weeks. Parsons takes some blame there. But the Saints and Ravens didn't have to play from behind/pass often.

Same reason he disappears against good teams because they can run the ball.

I'm not trying to ruffle any feathers, and I can't imagine that trading Micah is going to be a popular opinion amongst the fanbase, but there are a couple of things to consider. First, we won’t be able to afford Micah, so after this year, he will walk in free agency. If we do manage to keep him, it will be at the expense of a supporting cast. Trading him should help us get some great draft picks, ensuring we can acquire younger, cheaper talent for the next few years. In all honesty, this team is not going to make a deep playoff run, if they make it at all, so we may as well start thinking about the future.
Yes, it is a perfect storm to trade him with Hutchinson going down.

Why trade a great player ....... find a coach that knows how to use him.
They can use the draft capital to help draft 2 stud dtackles and 2 stud running backs and don't have to pay the high dollar contract to keep Parsons

And he is still making the decisions ...... that's the problem ....... whether you silly Jerry fans want to admit it or not.
Jerry has alway been an offensive guy first so it makes sense, but I can see him saying next year -" We paid our QB, WR, CB and DE, I don't understand why we are not winning."

Yea ....... and then he will blame some assistant to an assistant coach that he is not buddies with.

Pretty easily, yes we should trade him.

We've seen his peak with a stronger roster and it wasn't enough.

By the time this one is rebuilt, he'll probably be over the hill and his bloated contract will prevent us from capitalizing on a new crop's peak.

With the injury to Hutchinson, Parsons with never have greater value. They should trade him and others to gain picks and fix some things in the draft.

Jerry’s days are numbered. His recent outbursts show it is time to take the keys away.

Definitely. If I were Baltimore (or an organization like them) I would trade my 1st and 3rd for MP to all but guarantee a shot at the SB.
