They played at the Alamodome for the opening of Cowboys camp when Parcells first came in 4 years ago.

Not to knock those who like their music, but I was not impressed. Too many tweens running around who weren't there for the football. The players were out for about 5 minutes, and that was it.

Plus, I'm more of a punk-rocker XD

Just got back from the pep rally at the alamodome...

It got pretty loud, JJ knows how to throw a party. My Spurs need to take a note or two on how to celebrate the right way our NBA Championship celebration at the dome was horrible at best.

T.O. came out with Pom-Poms, Leonard Davis looks like he is in great shape (he is the largest man I have ever seen and I honestly could not see an ounce of fat on him).

The foundation of the Alamodome shook when Romo came out. It was a lot of fun.

My POS 5.1 Megapixel Fujifilm camera died and I was only able to recover the last 3 pics I took, (all of Wade Phillips) so sorry about the lack of photos but the good ones will come during TC for sure.

I just got back, too. The lighting was really bad for taking photos. They kept shining spotlights on the crowd and messing up my pictures. I will wait till I get back home next week to try and salvage a few and share the with the Zone.

I really enjoyed Los Lonely Boys, but I wish they had given them more time. Four songs was barely getting the crowd in the groove. Rowdy was his usual dorky self, getting in the way of the players and cheerleaders. The Spurs coyote was there and he did a much better job of jacking up the crowd.

The player intros were pretty lame. No one seemed to have briefed the guys on where to go or what to do so several of them looked lost out there. There were also the usual lame quotes from the players that spoke. Even Romo threw out a "How 'Bout Them Cowboys?"

I enjoyed the gathering over all but it didn't deserve the "Spectacular" moniker in any way, shape, form, or fashion.

i was there...i had a great time.

los lonely boys totally impressed me...they are really awesome musicians.

and i dunno what that comment about the spurs was about....our celebration was awesome and don't let anyone tell you differently.

speaking of the spurs...i'll paraphrase jerry....."we're gonna go everywhere the spurs went and hopefully those winning ways will rub off on us this year."

nice. the place went crazy! haha

can't wait to go watch practice.

oh, and the cheerleaders performed like 6 or 7 routines......speechless.

the only thing I have to compare it to was the Dome celebration the Spurs threw after they won the NBA title...and that was the most boring 5 hours ever. They stopped at nothing to make sure the owner of the Spurs did not have to spend a dime. I have stood in more entertaining DMV lines.

The players not knowing where to go and whatnot was kind of funny and they ran out of time for Wade Phillups to speak, so they dumped 100 pounds of glitter on the stage instead which I am sure he will be finding in his hair weeks from now.

I watched it on tv, and Davis did look to be in great shape. RW also looks like he has shed a few pounds too. Maybe I'm just used to seeing them all in pads, but he was looking svelte, as was Ellis.

i was only there for 1 1/2 hours and it was awesome.

if you were there for 5 hours, it's obvious why you hated it. maybe next time check out the river parade before you waste your day away waiting for it to start.
