This is a horrible mock.

Leinert to 10?

Eagles take a corner?

We take whitner?

Ernie Sims 9? Is he high?

When was the last time Goose hit on the Cowboys pick?

In one of Gosselin's early mocks last year, he had us taking Ware and Spears. In his final mock, he had us taking Merriman and Luis Castillo. (He had Spears going 12th and Ware 13th.)

Seeing it go down this way would hurt! However, I would be happy if we took W. Justice at #18 instead of Witner.
Just say NO to Softie USC O-linemen.

His second mock was right last year for both Cowboys picks and then he screwed it up with the final one.

He could be right about the run on LBers, but we only need him to be wrong about one of the LBer picks for us to get a good LBer. Whitner has not even slightly been on my radar. I have a feeling the war room walls are just a little too thick at Valley Ranch for that whole glass up against the wall trick to work for him.

plays out the way he says. With the run on LB's we'll be left with nothing...in that case trade down! Give me Lawson (please), Carpenter or Wimbley. I can live with any one of these players. Sure hope Denver and Miami go offense though.

If it falls like this, I hope we look at Mark Anderson in the second round.

If it does play out that way I can see us trading down and picking up Howard Thomas in the late 1st or early 2nd round. I would hope that we could get an extra 1st day pick out of the deal and use it to take a shot at a couple of OL while getting a FS in the 3rd round. Jerry has said that he does not see a FS worth taking in the 1st or 2nd round (I assume that he thinks Huff will be gone) so they must think the FS value in the mid rounds.

If the tweener/lbs do come off the board like that, for those with acid indigestion, a tablespoon of vinegar does the trick. Works a lot better than maalox/pepto if you can handle vinegar of course. You can wash it down with water, even dilute it.:

That will be pretty brutal to sit through if it falls that way. I think I'm gonna be sick!

Yeah it will.

I'd still rather draft his college buddy, Santonio Holmes, than Donte Whitner too.

I sort of thought the same thing.:

Heck I would rather take Maroney or D.Williams at RB over Whitner, and I think Whitner is a heck of a player.
