If it does play out that way I can see us trading down and picking up Howard Thomas in the late 1st or early 2nd round. I would hope that we could get an extra 1st day pick out of the deal and use it to take a shot at a couple of OL while getting a FS in the 3rd round. Jerry has said that he does not see a FS worth taking in the 1st or 2nd round (I assume that he thinks Huff will be gone) so they must think the FS value in the mid rounds.

If the tweener/lbs do come off the board like that, for those with acid indigestion, a tablespoon of vinegar does the trick. Works a lot better than maalox/pepto if you can handle vinegar of course. You can wash it down with water, even dilute it.:

Heck I would rather take Maroney or D.Williams at RB over Whitner, and I think Whitner is a heck of a player.
