I've gone a couple of times this week, and have found out that I'm incredibly stiff. I've always been that way, even in high school when I played football, wrestled and swam.

Its a great workout, but a bit discouraging to see how far behind I am.

...three times a week. I find it is a nice counterpoint to more physical and anaerobic forms of exercise. For men I find that the more physical the exercise the more testosterone we make. That's one of the key ingredients to sore and tight muscles. The yoga helps balance that out.

Also, it's a form of physical activity you can take anywhere for the rest of your life.

Enjoy.

Never done any kind of yoga, although I really should.

My gf is a pilates instructor. She's helped me stretch my hamstrings before, but that's about it. I use to be incredibly flexible (back in highschool), but my hamstrings are very tight now.

Lucky, she must have a pretty damn good figure if she's a Pilates instructor!
