Anybody know what would've happened if Weeden went down Sunday?

Over the years, seems like I've usually known who the "emergency QB" was for the Cowboys, but I haven't heard talk of that for a while. Don't teams usually have a skill player designated on the team for that emergency scenario? Do we have one?

McFadden played some QB in college. McFadden at QB, Peyton Hillis at FB, Felix Jones at TB running the Wildhog. It was money. McFadden threw a few passes out of it over the course of a season. But he's probably not been around long enough to be that guy. But I can't think of anybody else that would fit the bill.

We would put all of those RBs to work and employ the triple option ala GT or Georgia Southern.

I'm sure the Cowboys believe if Weeden goes down they can just call a fan down from the stands and put him under center. I'm sure we wouldn't miss a beat.

That is an interesting question. I think It would have to be a wide receiver because the running backs probably don't know the pass routes well enough to execute any pass plays. Beasley seems to be the logical choice. Wish the media would ask that question. (Dez has a great arm, but he is hurt too.)

Ive always wanted to see Dez sling one in a real game. Ive seen a video where he hit a goal post from about 60 yards away...I cant find it anymore but his arm looked pretty strong.

Honestly put Sean Lee back there and I bet good things would happen. Hell, put him back there over Weeden now.
