Not sure what you're looking at, but it shouldn't be listed at NFL.com. Sacks weren't an official stat until 1982 (it even says that on the link that YOU posted) so Harvey Martin could of got 89 sacks in 1978 and they still wouldn't be listed.

Exactly. Martin still had 23 sacks in 1977 -- that's the Cowboys' record. But the NFL doesn't recognize it because sacks weren't an official stat until 1982.
